Why we need EDI as
Advocates for Fair Housing

Northern Arizona Association of REALTORS® (NAAR) Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee exists to foster a culture of belonging, respect, and fairness within our association and the broader community of Northern Arizona. We are committed to advocating for fair housing, promoting diversity among real estate professionals, and connecting our community to essential resources. Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, we strive to empower members to embrace equitable practices, amplify underrepresented voices, and promote the value of working with a REALTOR®.

The NAR Code of Ethics mandates fair treatment for all clients and peers, regardless of race, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Embracing equity, diversity, and inclusion combats housing discrimination and ensures equal access to homeownership.

Inclusive practices build trust and create a welcoming environment.
By valuing and representing diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds, REALTORS® strengthen client relationships and foster community growth. Partnering with local events and business, NAAR’s EDI Committee gives a voice to challenges and advocates within our community surrounding diversity and fair housing issues.
